Internship and Fellow Opportunities
Playwrights Foundation, a center for new play development in San Francisco, has a firm belief in professional development and mentorship for aspiring early to mid-career, non-profit administrators and arts managers. To support this mentorship, PF provides creative, ambitious, and savvy individuals the exciting opportunity to gain “hands on” experience working as either interns or fellows within the organization. PF has programs that operate year-round, offering successful candidates the chance to see first hand how programs are planned and executed, and non-profit organizations are run. This summer will mark the 37th Annual Bay Area Playwrights Festival and we are seeking 6 aspiring early to mid-career individuals to join us in San Francisco as we work to put on the leading New Play Development Festival on the West Coast.
Playwrights Foundation will offer 6 internship opportunities throughout the summer to work on the 37th Bay Area Playwrights Festival.:
Interns/Fellows are expected to work at least 15 hours/week. The internship will take place at the Playwrights Foundation offices, located at 1616 16th Street, San Francisco.
Letters of recommendation are available upon request. College credit is available per University or department guidelines.
Summer 2014: Monday, May 26th - Monday, August 1, 2014
Playwrights Foundation will begin to review applications March 15.
